1965 Foundation
Peter Helmut and Annemarie Bohnet founded the company Bohnet & Co. The fleet consists of a truck unit and a 3-axle semi-trailer.
1969 Kirchdorf headquarters
The company headquarters are relocated from Nagold to Kirchdorf an der Iller.
1981 Expansion
A new office building and a factory hall are built on the current company premises.
2005 Retirement
After 40 years, Peter Helmut Bohnet goes in his well-deserved retirement.
2008 Milestone
Annemarie Bohnet hands over the company and the management to her son Peter Bohnet.
2010 Erfurt branch
To optimize its geographical proximity to its customers, Bohnet GmbH opens a new branch in Erfurt, which establishes itself successfully on the market within a very short period of time.
2013 Office building
Completion of a modern, three-storey office building at the headquarters in Kirchdorf. A modern warehouse with an integrated office wing is built on a newly acquired property in Erfurt.
2015 Half a century

Quality Management ISO EN 9001:2015 Certification
Just like customers, the high quality of services is extremely important to us. The planning, organization and execution of heavy and special transports require quality throughout all the processes.
As a customer-oriented company, in 2009 we decided to introduce a quality management system based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Quality management systems start at the points relevant for success. This implies a strong orientation towards the customer, a process-focused approach in the organization as well as optimization of resources used.
With the DEKRA certification, Bohnet GmbH substantiated its own quality standards for its range of services.
Safety, Health & Environmental Management SCC** Certification
SCC („Safety Certificate Contractors“) is an international standard for safety, health and environmental management for technical service providers and loan-employment agencies, which become active in the client’s premises.
Bohnet GmbH was awarded the unrestricted SCC** certification by DEKRA, which applies to companies with more than 35 employees. This certificate confirms that the heavy goods and leading transportation projects have an occupational safety system of the highest standard implemented. Bohnet thus offers DEKRA-certified occupational safety throughout Europe.
For Bohnet GmbH, SCC certification was the logical step into further development of the corporate philosophy based on the highest sense of responsibility and safety.
Project Logistics Alliance Partnership
The Project Logistics Alliance is an independent network that is characterized by the quality of its members. The network has been built by highly experienced project forwarders to build on the expertise they hold together with a focus on maintaining a high quality of service and appropriately expanding the unique knowledge base demanded by the project forwarding industry. We have been represented on this exclusive platform for industry experts since 2018.
